HGW55CA Flange Linear Guide Block — 55 mm, Heavy Load
The HGW55CA is the 55 mm flange block of the HG series. Direct bolts pass through the flange, which suits carriages that mount from above and need a wide footprint. Same rail and hole pitch as the HGR55 rail, and the same HG line as the rest of the range.

Where this block is used
The flange body spreads the bolt pattern wider than a square block on the same rail, which helps when the carriage plate is thin or the load sits away from the rail centreline. Typical use is machine-tool tables, gantry beams and automation carriages that are bolted from both above and below.
Mounting: rails and blocks are bolted to machined faces. Rail bolts are tightened from the centre outwards in the sequence given in the catalogue, and running accuracy is checked with a dial gauge before the carriage is loaded. Lubrication is by grease nipple or oil port; the re-greasing interval follows load and duty cycle, so it is agreed with the customer rather than fixed on the datasheet.
